Exports Shipments
These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the export of shipments from India to the United States (US) and the United Kingdom (UK) through Explus Logistics Pvt. Ltd. By using our services, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions.
1. Permitted Items
Only items that are permitted by the Customs Department of India can be exported through Explus Logistics Pvt. Ltd. It is the responsibility of the shipper to ensure that the goods they are exporting are not restricted or prohibited. Explus Logistics Pvt. Ltd. reserves the right to refuse any shipment that does not comply with Indian customs regulations.
2. Documentation and Compliance
If required, the shipper must provide the necessary documentation, including but not limited to invoices, bills, and permits, as requested by the Customs Department of India or Explus Logistics Pvt. Ltd. Failure to provide these documents may result in delays, rejection of shipments, or penalties. All legal consequences of non-compliance with customs requirements will be borne solely by the shipper.
3. Shipping Rates
The shipping rates displayed on the Explus Logistics Pvt. Ltd. website are base prices only. Additional charges, including but not limited to fuel surcharges, security fees, and applicable taxes, may apply depending on the nature of the shipment, destination, and any additional services requested by the shipper.
4. Liability
Explus Logistics Pvt. Ltd. will not be held responsible for any delays or issues that arise due to non-compliance with Indian customs regulations or failure to provide the required documentation. All shipments are subject to inspection by customs authorities in both India and the destination countries. The shipper assumes full responsibility for ensuring that all documentation and declarations are accurate and complete.
5. Prohibited and Restricted Items
Certain items may be restricted or prohibited from being exported from India under customs law. Explus Logistics Pvt. Ltd. strictly adheres to the list of restricted and prohibited items as provided by the Customs Department of India. Any attempt to ship prohibited or restricted items may result in the seizure of goods, fines, or legal actions.
6. Additional Charges
In addition to the base shipping rates, additional charges may be applicable for various reasons, including:
- Additional packaging or handling services
- Fuel surcharges
- Customs clearance fees

7. Insurance
Insurance for shipments is optional but recommended. Explus Logistics Pvt. Ltd. does not provide insurance coverage by default. If you wish to insure your shipment, please contact us for additional details and associated costs.
8. Governing Law
These terms and conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of India, and any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengalore, India.

Pickup and Return
At Explus Logistics Pvt. Ltd., we strive to ensure a smooth and hassle-free process for both shipment returns and pickups. Please carefully review the policies and charges related to these services.
1. Pickup Services
1.1 Pickup Requests
- Customers may request the pickup of goods for export shipment through our website or by contacting our customer service team.
- Pickup requests must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance to ensure timely service.
1.2 Pickup Charges
- A base pickup fee will be applied depending on the pickup location and distance from our designated logistics centers.
- Additional charges may apply for remote areas or expedited pickup requests.
- In cases where the pickup location is outside standard service zones, special rates may be provided on request.
- The shipper will be informed of any applicable pickup charges at the time of scheduling the pickup.
1.3 Pickup Timing
- Pickups will be carried out during standard business hours. Special requests for after-hours pickups may incur additional charges, subject to availability.
1.4 Failed Pickup
- If a scheduled pickup cannot be completed due to customer unavailability or other issues, Explus Logistics Pvt. Ltd. reserves the right to charge a failed pickup fee.
2. Return Services
2.1 Return Requests
- Returns can be requested if the shipment is eligible for return under the laws of the destination country and the conditions of the recipient.
- All return requests must be made in writing and agreed upon by Explus Logistics Pvt. Ltd. before arranging the return.
2.2 Return Charges
- Return shipments are subject to return fees, which may vary depending on the shipment’s destination, weight, and volume.
- Return charges include the cost of shipping the goods back to the original sender or an alternative destination within India.
- Additional charges may apply for customs clearance, re-packaging, and handling during the return process.
- The customer will be informed of the return charges before initiating the process, and full payment must be made before the return shipment is processed.
2.3 Customs and Documentation for Returns
- The customer is responsible for providing all necessary documentation for return shipments, including invoices, customs forms, and any other paperwork required by Indian customs or the destination country’s authorities.
- Failure to provide accurate and complete documentation may result in delays, additional charges, or the rejection of the return shipment.
3. Transfer of Goods
3.1 Transfer Charges
- In cases where goods need to be transferred from one location to another (within or outside India), transfer fees will be applied based on the distance, weight, and nature of the goods being transferred.
- Applicable taxes, duties, and customs clearance fees may also apply depending on the origin and destination of the transfer.
- The customer will be provided with a detailed breakdown of the transfer charges before the process is initiated.
3.2 Additional Transfer Fees
- Any additional services requested by the customer, such as special handling, expedited transfers, or temperature-controlled transfers, may incur extra fees.
- The customer is responsible for all associated transfer charges, and full payment is required before the goods are transferred.
4. Governing Law for Pickup and Return Services
All pickups, returns, and transfers are subject to the laws of India and the customs regulations of both the country of origin and destination. Any disputes arising from the use of these services will be governed by Indian law and subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru City, India
